Reservations may be made by phoning (510.653.3902), Wednesday through Sunday from 1pm to 4pm or anytime online by clicking on the link above. Reservations can be made 60 days in advance of the reservation date at the restaurant, or 45 days in advance online.
Upon reserving, we encourage guests with food allergies or dietary aversions to inform us of those specifications in order to give the chefs advance warning.
We require a credit card to hold all reservations. Before booking, please review our Cancellation Policy below.
Commis is a small restaurant and if you wish to cancel or reduce your party size, you must reach someone by phone at the restaurant (510.653.3902) at least forty-eight (48) hours before the reservation for parties of 3 persons or less. Parties of 4 persons or more require 1-week notice of cancellation. All Holiday cancellations require 1-week notice, regardless of party size. Cancellation messages left on the restaurant’s voicemail must be confirmed by a return phone call from the restaurant to avoid any cancellation fees.
Please note that for any reduction in party size or cancellation that are not within the guidelines a fee will be charged at the rate of $200 per person for all bookings. Charges are non refundable.
